This is a lovely young patient of mine that despite diet and exercise had fullness in her belly and flanks (love-handles as they are so lovingly called by many.). She is young and has great elasticity to her skin and thus liposuction is a great option for her. Unlike CoolSculpting it is a one time treatment and thus even though it is surgical many patients will opt for a quicker fix despite surgery and recovery. She is shown here before and after liposuction at around 5 weeks postop. She will continue to lean out as the swelling resolves over about 6 months. The incisions are each about 3mm in length and fade to very small lines. She is very happy her trouble areas are resolved!
