This 40 year old mother of 3 came in upset with the appearance of her abdomen despite diet and exercise. This is a common problem for young mothers after pregnancy. The abdominal wall often takes quite a hit during pregnancy and while they are often upset with their "fat" appearing abdomen it is really more muscle separation and damaged skin that gives the appearance shown in the preoperative photos. She is shown 3 months postoperatively from her abdominoplasty. The incision is indeed long but will continue to fade over the course of the next year. She is delighted with her cute new belly button which is a common worry about prospective tummy tuck patients.
