This is a lovely 49 year old lady that does not like the loose skin in her lower abdomen or the ledge of skin over her caesarian section scar. We discussed options and decided on a mini-abdominoplasty. This is a much less powerful surgical option than a full abdominoplasty since with a smaller length of incision less skin can be removed. In a full abdominoplasty everything from pubic area to belly button is removed. In a mini abdominoplasty only the skin in the lower half of the abdomen is removed.
