This is a 45 year old patient who came to see me saying that she had gotten breast implants done 13 years earlier by another surgeon and always felt that they were too large. She wears a D cup and at 5'5" and 125lbs it just is too much for her. We discussed downsizing to a newer generation silicone gummy breast implant. She enjoys the natural appearance of her breasts and does not want a lift. She feels the implants sit too high in their pockets already. At surgery she had 286cc silicone implants and I downsized her to 210cc after opening up her pockets where the pockets had been placed too high for her. This allows a more natural, proportional C cup that she was looking for.
