This is what happens when you need a lift but just get implants. Please understand this. This is a lady that came to see me after unsuccessful breast enhancement by another South Jersey plastic surgeon. She was very upset with the appearance of her breasts. She initially had saline breast implants placed but nothing was done to lift her natural preoperative sagging breast tissue. She came to see me and I explained that the only way to fix the appearance of her breasts would be to do a lift. While most women do not want the additional incisions of a lift, sometimes it is the best option. Scars fade over time, and to most women are a reasonable tradeoff for breasts that are positioned properly with a nice shape. She is shown her before and after her mastopexy breast revision.
