This is a 45 year old patient who came to me for breast augmentation. This is a perfect example of someone who has a good amount of her own natural breast tissue to start with but wants to fill out the upper portion of her breasts, gain more firmness and fullness. I discussed with her that with her starting position and shape we could do a small breast lift with a periareolar (around the areola) mastopexy and we discussed the pros and cons of doing this. The downside of a lift are the additional scars but if a lift is not done the breasts are not going to be lifted by an implant. An implant alone fills out the shape that she already has. She is shown here before and after a subfascial muscle sparing breast augmentation with Motiva Demi Round 425cc breast implants via crease incisions. Her tattoos have been blurred for privacy. She is very happy with her results.
