This is a lovely 56 year old patient who felt disproportionately small in her chest for her entire life.  She wanted to have proportion in a dress and bathing suits without looking over the top!  Many ladies come in and ask for proportional breast augmentation and it is always important for me to try to figure out what they mean by this.  Some show me photos of ladies with huge breast implants and others show me much more modest breast implant sample photos.  I suppose proportional is in the eye of the beholder as after 20 years of being a plastic surgeon I still am surprised but what some ladies consider "looking natural" to be.  Regardless this lady really did want a modest, proportional, natural breast augmentation and is shown before and after placement of 285cc moderate profile Sientra style 106 breast implants in a submuscular under the muscle location.  She is very lean and the thinner you are the more an implant will potentially ripple so silicone was a much better choice for her than saline would be.  She is shown before and 6 weeks after surgery.
