This is a complicated history as this patient started with a breast reduction years ago but was unhappy with the results so had a revision of that breast reduction. Then, after having a baby she felt even more deflated and wanted to restore volume with a breast implant. Unfortunately her scarring from the previous surgeries is poor. This bothers her but she did not want to revise all of the scars at this surgery. Her goal was to obtain fullness and volume and so an enhancement with Motiva 380cc round Demi breast implants was performed in a subfascial muscle sparing pocket. I see this quite often where a patient has a reduction and then years later after volume loss from weight changes or pregnancy loses most of her upper pole and returns for breast implants. She is shown here before and 6 weeks after the surgery and is happy with her restored fullness.
